When I sleep, I dream. Dreamless night is rare for me.
Sometimes my dream could be more dramatic than Hollywood movies. Other times my dream was so peaceful, full of lovable people, like family members who are already in heaven or those who live far away in reality.
Last night my mom came to my dream. My son also came to my dream, but I don't remember the details.
My mom left me in 2008. I didn't have a chance to say goodbye in person. I guess that is why she came to my dream often so I could relive those precious moments.
My son flew to San Francisco on Friday, September 25 to start his new chapter in life.
Before coming to Canada, having a son was one of my dreams. That dream was realized on June 1, 1998.
22 years later, he started pursuing his own dreams after McGill University.
When he was still in college, he visited his sister who was an intern at Google in San Francisco. He was so impressed by the working environment that he decided to pursue his career in the big tech companies. He landed two job offers before he even graduated.
Today is his first day at Google, even though he has to work remotely at this moment, it is really a BIG deal.
Congratulations on your first day at work, Eric. I am SO proud of YOU.
