Do you work while music is playing in the background?
I don't listen to music when I work.
I let the music flow in the background when I perform my task at hand.
I need both: work to keep me busy, music to lighten the workload.
I am lucky that now I have both.
That is one of the biggest benefits of working from home.
Among most of the jobs I had in the past, except the last one, I could listen to music without having to use a headphone. I once had an office job that my desk was situated at a corner where I was quite far from my colleagues. I bought a CD player and I borrowed CDs from the library. I had music playing in the background all day long. I had to admit, they did help me a lot to get through the tax season. Yes, I was working in an accounting firm.
