Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, Nobody

Today I am sharing a story.

It goes like this:

There is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done and everybody was sure that somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was everybody's job. Everybody thought that anybody could do it, but nobody realized that everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that everybody blamed somebody when nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Do you consider this little story "A moment of humor" or "A moment of reflection"?

If you are a Toastmaster, you would know that I was referring to the two elements at our meetings.

I would say a bit of both. It made me smile and it made me think.

Today is the first Tuesday that I don't have my Toastmasters meeting in the evening. We carried on our online meetings from the middle of March until last Tuesday. I missed only the first meeting but I didn't miss any Tuesdays to promote Toastmasters on my blog.

Here are a few inspiring quotes by Simon Sinek (author of cover image). They involve everything, something, anything except nothing. 😀😊😀

As the Zen Buddhist saying goes, how you do anything is how you do everything.

"Working hard for something we don’t care about is called stress; working hard for something we love is called passion.

Life is beautiful not because of the things we see or do. Life is beautiful because of the people we meet.
